Archeologické rozhledy is published by the terms of Diamond Open Access in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal exclusive right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under the CC BY 4.0. This license allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Articles are published in a hardcopy version and online on the journal website. After publication, they may be promoted via the accounts of Archeologické rozhledy on Facebook and Twitter. Authors are permitted and encouraged to share their work online via other channels (e.g. in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, or on their personal websites and social media profiles).

Authors are not charged any APCs (Article Processing Charges) or other publication fees. Published papers are available for free on the journal’s website, but a hardcopy version of the journal is subject to a purchase fee.

The Open Access Policy of Archeologické rozhledy has been approved by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

This policy took effect with the 1/2019 issue.
